ATTENTION PARENTS AND PLAYERS:

We had a good session both Friday night at Showtime and on Saturday afternoon during our simulated scrimmage. The guys who were able to attend on Friday night at Showtime got to see about 50 pitches a piece. This is critical to developing comfort at the plate and will surely help these guys put the ball into play once the season begins.

Saturday afternoon was a highlighted by our starting pitchers getting some work against live batters. I was pleased about how we hit as a group with every guy putting the bat on the baseball. The guys hit the ball hard and we have good effort and a competitive attitude between the groups.

We will return to the practice field tonight and Thursday at Granny White Park at 7:15pm. Both sessions will go for approximately an hour and a half. The weather appears to be deteriorating though the day so please make sur that your son dresses appropriately for the conditions. These session are critical to the team’s development and readiness as we will not be meeting next week due to Spring Break.
